CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Police have identified a man in a surveillance picture tied to an upskirt incident at a Chesterfield department store on Valentine's Day.

The man used a cell phone to film a woman while she was in a dressing room at the Chesterfield Kohl's store Friday, according to police.

The woman was trying on clothes at the store at 11331 Midlothian Turnpike around 4:20 p.m. when she saw a hand holding a cell phone under the dressing room door, police said. The woman yelled at the suspect and chased him through the store to the parking lot.

"It makes me scared to go into the dressing room and makes me kind of cautious," says Amanda Spiers, a shopper.  "Hopefully they find him.  He's probably doing it in other stores."

Police say the suspect drove off in a blue, newer model Volkswagen Passat. He is described as a white male, 20 to 28 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He was wearing a black ball cap, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The investigation is ongoing, despite the suspect being identified. Anyone with information should contact Crime Solvers at 804-748-0660.
