RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The two people accused of robbing several banks across the Richmond are expected in court Tuesday.
Jerry Henderson and Latoya Heath are charged with four counts of robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. Police say they robbed the SunTrust Bank on Broad Street near the Boulevard on November 21. Next, they're accused of robbing the Gateway Bank on Patterson Avenue and Willow Lawn Drive on December 4.
A week later, police say they robbed the BB&T Bank just blocks away on Patterson and Libbie avenues. They're also accused of robbing the New Generations Credit Union near the Diamond on December 17.
The pair were caught after a witness wrote down the couple's license plate number following an alleged Newport News bank robbery. The car that matched that license plate then was turned into a car rental business at Richmond International Airport. Both were then taken into custody.
Henderson and Heath are due inside of a Richmond courtroom at 9 a.m.
