HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Sunday night was a big Super Bowl win for the Seattle Seahawks and two starting players who call the Richmond area home.

The Seahawks beat the Broncos Sunday night 43-8.

The scene was a wild one in the streets of Seattle, as fans celebrated late into the night. The event drew 111.5 million viewers.

In Richmond, Seahawks merchandise is flying off the shelves, social media is a buzz, and fans are going crazy. Russell Wilson graduated from Collegiate High School and Michael Robinson from Varina High School.

At Disco Sports in Henrico, the phones haven't stopped ringing. Clerks are answering calls about Seahawks fan gear, Super Bowl Champion shirts, and anything else available for purchase. There are already lists for merchandise that hasn't been found.

"It was just ecstatic!" super-fan Stephanie Disharoon described of watching the game. "Everyone was going crazy and they loved every second of it. We loved every second of it!"

Just search the hashtag, #RoarforRussell, and it's like a playback of Seahawks madness from Collegiate students, graduates, and Russell fans alike.

Across town at Varina High School, blue and green were popular colors. Posters lined the hallway, and a personal message from Michael Robinson played on the TV in the main office.

"He's got a ring, and I think now vicariously he lives through us all - we excited for him," said one-time coach Stu Brown.

Brown still coaches at Varina High School and says the Seahawks win is motivating for students.

"Wherever Michael goes is who we pull for!" said Brown.
