84-year-old pedestrian killed by vehicle near Willow Lawn in Henrico

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - An 84-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing the street in Henrico Monday night.
A Honda Civic hit Predzel Hawtorne as he was crossing Willow Lawn Drive just south of West Broad Street around 6:15 p.m. He was taken to VCU Medical Center where he died.
Alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the incident, according to Henrico Police. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
