Thomas Dale HS alumni makes TV debut on "Ready for Love" Tuesday night

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - A new reality show begins tonight on NBC12. It's called "Ready for Love," produced by Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives"). Three matchmakers bring in dozens of young women to find the perfect match for three bachelors.

One of those women is a Chesterfield native, who makes her TV debut tonight.

It's a reality show that promises romance - and at times, tempers will flair. Amid this search for love will be a hometown girl. For those who attended Thomas Dale High School, you may remember 2006 graduate Jade Dhir.

Her mom, dad, sisters and other family members still live in Chesterfield- but she's in Austin these days, where she works at a fitness center.

The goal of this show is to find the perfect match for three bachelors, and producer Eva Longoria has hired what she describes as the three best professional match-makers on the planet.

"Tracy, Matt and I were able to actually go through and choose women we thought were ready for love."
