CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) - We're learning new information about President Obama's upcoming campaign stop in Charlottesville. As part of a two-day college tour, President Obama will speak at the Charlottesville nTelos Wireless Pavilion, Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
The announcement on Saturday comes after the University of Virginia declined a request from the Obama campaign to hold the event on campus. UVA explained the decision in a statement on Friday, saying holding the event at the university would cause the disruption or cancellation of classes.
Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginning Sunday at 12:00 p.m., the public can pick up tickets at one of the following locations:
