Brewdependence Day

Hardywood's Independence Day Celebration will be open to the public and there will be no entry fee. Bracelets will be available for people 21-years of age and over to sample and purchase beer. Special draft and cask ales will be available exclusively at this event.

Busch Gardens IllumiNights

Busch Gardens celebrates summer with IllumiNights, a nightly extravaganza featuring live performances, music and special effects that culminates in a park-wide firework spectacular. Beginning July 1 through Aug. 19 each country will celebrate IllumiNights in its own way with multiple performances throughout the evening. Fifty nights of fireworks provide a perfect ending to a summer evening.

Chesterfield County July 4th Celebration

Celebrate our independence with a spectacular fireworks display at dark! The event, held at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds (across from L.C. Bird High School), includes an activity area for children and special entertainment.
Wednesday, July 04, 2012 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM  at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds, 10300 Courthouse Road.

Colonial Heights Fireworks

UPDATE: The Annual 4th of July Fireworks display is postponed to Saturday, July 7. The show will be located in the vicinity of Charles Dimmock Parkway in Colonial Heights. Fireworks will start at approximately 9:15PM. Viewing for the fireworks will be off Interstate 95, Exit 53 or 54 in the Southgate Square/Wal-Mart Area.

Fourth at the Fort

Party at Ft. Lee from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Fourth of July at Williams Stadium on Lee Avenue. There will be music food and a KidZone. Tickets for rides and games for kids will be available for $10 each. At 7 p.m. country singer Justin Moore will take the stage. Fireworks will start around 9:35 p.m. Parking and admission is free. Genworth Independence Day Concert

Join Genworth on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 to celebrate freedom with the Heritage of America Band. The concert will begin at 6:30pm at Genworth Financial's World Headquarters located at 6620 West Broad Street. This free event starts at 6:30 pm, with the concert beginning at 7:30 pm. Fireworks start at approximately 8:45 pm.

Goochland County Fireworks

Park & watch the fireworks from the Goochland County Administration Building, Goochland Elementary, Middle & High School Complex. Admission is FREE!
Wednesday, July 4th 2012 at the Goochland Sports Complex — 9pm

Fireworks at Dogwood Dell

Celebrate the fourth of July with music and fireworks at Dogwood Dell. Fireworks at dusk. Susan Greenbaum at 5:30 p.m., Larry Robinson on the Carillon bells at 7 p.m. and the Richmond Concert Band at 7:30 p.m.

Ashland 4th of July at Hanover Arts Center

Ashland's quirky, nonmotorized walking parade is a small-town favorite. It begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday down Hanover Avenue. Participants in the walking parade will line up at the Henry Clay-War Memorial Parking lot at 10:15 a.m. The Hanover Concert Band will perform a rousing patriotic concert and sing-a-long on the lawn of the Hanover Arts & Activities Center. Games for kids, an apple pie contest, and a patriotic pet contest will all be held.
