Three sent to hospital after shooting near Mosby Court

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Three people were rushed to the hospital after being shot outside a Stop & Go convenience store.

It happened shortly before 1:30 Saturday afternoon in the 1600 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike.

When officers arrived they found two men and a woman shot in the parking lot.

All three were taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment. Police say all three should survive their injuries.

No word on what led up to the shooting, but police say they are searching for a suspect.
