RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Charges could be filed against a hotel valet — accused of hitting 23-year-old Josephine Stone with the car he was driving.

Police say a valet hit Stone Friday night on the sidewalk near the Hilton Garden Inn at 5th and Broad.

She later died at VCU Medical Center.

Stone would have celebrated her wedding anniversary Monday.

The 23-year-old graduated last spring from VCU with a degree in journalism.

She currently worked as managing editor of Quail Bell magazine.

According to the magazine's twitter account, everyone knew her as "Josie."

Josie's memorial service is Monday.

It's expected to start at 2:30 at Bon Air Baptist Church, 2531 Buford Road.

There are also condolences sent to the magazine on twitter.

Police have not released the name of the valet driver. Possible charges could be filed once police meet with the Commonwealth's attorney.
