RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – These court documents show the charges 3 University of Richmond baseball students are facing. 19 year old Jacob Mayers, 19 year old Blake Geiger and 20 year old Andrew Lowry are all charged with felonies for an incident that occurred during the university's spring break.

Students we spoke with on campus hadn't heard much about the incident but court documents show the three were charged with grand larceny and burglary. The incident happened on March 8 but the arrests weren't made until nearly 2 weeks later.

As far as "what" the three players allegedly stole -- UR Police aren't saying. Because of certain policies that are in place, University of Richmond Police are not allowed to release the police report that gives details about the crime committed. But what we do know is that the value of the items stolen totals at least $200 or more.

The news was shocking for most students. Mayers was the Spiders' pitcher. The Mechanicsville native and Hanover High graduate was named the Central Region's Player of the Year, last year.

"You like to think that you can trust people on this campus especially I think that athletes are given a bit of a known opportunity to be here and you would hope that everyone should be acting honorably," said U of R student, Maura Bogue.
