Sophia Armata was born and raised in Atlanta, GA before moving to Birmingham, AL where she finished out her high school years. She recently graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with a concentration in Broadcast Meteorology. While in college, Sophia balanced her school work with a weekend morning meteorologist position at WTVA in Tupelo, MS. In her free time, Sophia tutored Mississippi State athletes in science and geography courses.
