Destini Harris joined the NBC29 team in May, 2023.
No stranger to the area– born and raised in Louisa County. Before making her way back home, she was an associate producer at WAVY TV 10 in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Prior to being an associate producer, Destini was also a news intern at WAVY TV 10 in Hampton Roads and CBS 19 news in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Destini is a proud alumna of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Communications. Destini is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
