Nick Russo

Nick Russo joined the NBC12 First Alert Weather Team in October 2018.

Nick previously worked as a weather forecaster for NBC25/FOX66 in Flint, Michigan, for WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, West Virginia, and for KMID-TV in Midland, Texas.

He grew up south of Boston, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Television Studies with a concentration in Broadcast News and a minor in Atmospheric Science from Lyndon State College (now known as Northern Vermont University at Lyndon) in Lyndonville, Vermont. He graduated cum laude.

Nick knew he wanted to forecast the weather ever since 5th grade when he was fascinated by snowstorms, thunderstorms, and hurricanes.
