60-year-old Henrico man dies in crash on New Market Road

HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - The Henrico Police Department says a 60-year-old man died in a crash on Thursday.

A GMC Envoy and a tractor-trailer crashed near the intersection of New Market Road and Doran Road around 9:30 a.m.

Police say the driver of the Envoy - Brian Edward Suggs, of Henrico - died at the scene.

The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

“Detectives from the Henrico County Crash Team responded to the scene,” Henrico Police said. “As they investigate the cause of this crash, they will also work closely with the State’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”
