Man critically hurt in shooting near VCU

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A man is fighting for his life after he was shot near VCU’s campus overnight.
Police say the shooting happened at the intersection of S. Belvidere Street and Cumberland Street.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released any information about a suspect.
