Children injured in Blacksburg crash along 460

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Two buses from Imagination Station, a childcare agency in Giles County, were involved in a crash Wednesday along Route 460 in Blacksburg with 13 children in each vehicle. Two of the children are at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Carilion Roanoke Memorial reports three patients were received between the hospital in Roanoke and Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. One of those patients was in good condition Wednesday, with two in fair condition.

Blacksburg Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash, with at least two patients treated at LewisGale Montgomery Hospital.

BPD’s Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
