WASHINGTON (WWBT) - The National Park Service is limiting foot and vehicle traffic during Washington DC’s cherry blossom peak due to COVID-19 safety guidelines.

There will be limited access to the Tidal Basin starting Friday and running through April 12.

Certain curbside parking and parking lots will be closed as well.

Peak bloom is expected in mid-April.
