Sheriff: 2 girls missing from Tappahannock found safe

ESSEX COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Authorities say two Tappahannock girls who were missing have been found safe.

The Essex County Sheriff’s Office said Olivia Wachsmuth and Emma Wachsmuth have been found safe and are unharmed.

The girls left their home in the Scotts Mill Road area of Tappahannock at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to a post from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials previously said both girls were possibly endangered when they were missing.
