Man injured in Richmond building fire

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - One man was injured following a two-alarm fire in Richmond on Tuesday.

Richmond Fire Department said it was called to 1715 Bellevue Avenue for a fire on Tuesday afternoon.

When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the 8th floor of the building.

Crews found a man in the room with the fire. He was taken to the hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

2ND-ALARM FIRE: E16 arrived at 1715 Bellevue Ave for the report of a structure fire. Crews saw smoke coming from the 8th floor.
