Some vaccine clinics postponed due to weather, others are still on

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Due to inclement weather, health districts are postponing some vaccination clinics. But make sure you check first because some events are still on.

Richmond/Henrico

The COVID-19 vaccination event at Richmond Raceway is postponed to next week.

All other COVID-19 vaccination events scheduled for Friday in Richmond and Henrico County are still happening.

Individuals can go to the health department’s website to know when their appointment is rescheduled and what to do next.

Chesterfield

The Chesterfield County Health District announced they will be postponing a second dose vaccination event.

The event was scheduled for Feb. 18, 19 and 20.

Those appointments will now be rescheduled for the week of Feb. 22.

“Individuals expecting to get a second dose appointment during that week can now be expected to be contacted by health district staff during the week of March 1 to be scheduled for a vaccination appointment that same week,” Chesterfield Health District said.

People will be contacted by phone or email to reschedule appointments.

Crater Health District

The Crater Health District announced vaccine clinics have been postponed due to the weather.

The Dinwiddie site and Mass Vaccination Clinic site clinics will be rescheduled to Feb. 25.

Patients will keep the same appointment time and location.
