CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - Chesterfield County announced on Wednesday that two museums have reopened.
The Chesterfield County Museum and the historic 1892 Jail reopened to the public on Jan. 27. It will operate on a weekly schedule of Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Both are located on Mimms Loop in the Courthouse Green at the Chesterfield Government Center.
The Magnolia Grange Museum House has been open since September on the limited schedule of Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
COVID-19 mitigation efforts of facial coverings, social distancing, designated doors for entry and exit, and extra cleanings will be in place.
