RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - VCU’s weekend just got a little bit more full on the men’s basketball court. The school announced that the Rams’ contest with Fordham, originally scheduled for February 15, has been moved to this Sunday at the Siegel Center. Tip off is set for 5:00 PM.

Saturday’s home game against La Salle remains unchanged, meaning the black and gold will host contests on back-to-back days this weekend.

The decision was made to help space out the Rams’ schedule in February, according to a school spokesperson.

VCU’s scheduled game with UMass on Wednesday was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Minutemen. The Rams’ last game was Saturday, a 66-43 victory over Dayton. The latest postponement is the only contest that has yet to be rescheduled for the black and gold.

Mike Rhoades and company currently sit at 11-4, 4-2 in the Atlantic 10. Saturday’s contest with the Explorers tips off at 1:00 PM.
