RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - One member of the Metro Richmond Zoo is celebrating an important milestone — her first birthday.

Dandi, an endangered black-handed spider monkey, celebrated her first birthday on Friday. Zoo workers left peanut butter, celery, honey and marshmallows for Dandi and her family to enjoy in her favorite spot: the exhibit’s slide.

Zoo workers describe her as curious, brave and super cute. Who can argue with that?
