Police: 19-year-old taken into custody after being accused of robbing flea market stand

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Police in Chesterfield County say a man they say robbed a Flea Market in November has been taken into custody.

According to police, Brandon Baskerville, 19, went into a stand at the Jefferson Davis Flea Market on Nov. 28 and grabbed the victim’s waist pack containing cash.

After the two struggled, police say Baskerville fled the scene. The victim was not injured during the incident.

Police have now issued warrants on Baskerville for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery in relation to the incident. Detectives believe he may be staying with friends in Dinwiddie, Prince George, Chesterfield or Richmond.
