Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that they say happened over a parking spot in Chesterfield.
On Sunday, police said they arrested Rakim Jackson in connection to the shooting and charged him with malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm at an occupied building, and use of a firearm in a commission of a felony.
Jackson is being held without bond at the Chesterfield County Jail.

Minimum wage workers in Virginia will be waiting a few more months before seeing a pay increase.
The law was set to go into effect on Jan. 1, but governor Northam delayed it until May 1.
The bill was in its final stages when the pandemic first hit but was delayed.
The general assembly approved Northam’s amendment to the bill to give businesses more time to recover.
