HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - School leaders in Hanover County will be discussing plans for the second semester during a school board meeting.

Hanover was one of the school districts to start the school year with in-person learning.

Families were given the choice a few weeks ago to change their learning method for the second semester.

Right now, middle and high school sports in Hanover are suspended as COVID-19 cases spike.

A final decision on winter sports is expected by Dec. 18.

The school board meeting on what to do for the second semester will be held on Dec. 8.
