CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - The Chesterfield County Police Department’s alarm registration and false alarm program are now available online.
Central Square Technologies LLC, using its proprietary CryWolf software, will take over alarm registration, false alarm notifications, billing and collections for the county.
Residents will also be able to pay false alarm charges and/or submit requests to appeal those charges online.
The county’s alarm system ordinance has not changed.
If you have an alarm system and an active permit, no action is required; you will receive a letter from the vendor with login information to the new citizen portal.
Residents who prefer to discuss their accounts via the telephone can do so by calling the vendor at 855-694-8279 during normal business hours.
Starting on Dec. 7, new residential and commercial alarm systems can be registered online by clicking here.
