RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Richmond police have released the identity of a man shot and killed in the Fulton neighborhood on Monday, Nov. 9.

Police were called to the scene along Nelson Street around 3:30 p.m. for shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found Edward Agurs, a man in his 30s, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Detectives believe the shooting actually occurred nearby in the 1400 block of Garber Street.
