SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Police say two men have been arrested after an altercation and a beer bottle stabbing that took place at a Sheetz.

A witness says on Nov. 7, two men, identified as Walter Samuels and Daniel Dyane, were traveling from a job site in northern Virginia and had been arguing during the car ride home. The witness also stated he did not know what the men were arguing about, but it had escalated.

Once the witness stopped the vehicle at a Sheetz located at 2807 Lafayette Boulevard to drop Dyane off, Dyane and Walters began arguing outside of the vehicle.

The fight between the two men turned physical.

According to the investigation, Dyane struck Walter in the face with a beer bottle and Walter then stabbed him.

Police say while offering Walters first aid, Walters told police what happened.

Police followed a blood trail to a residence and located Dyane. Dyane had multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds on his body.

Both men were taken to a local hospital to receive medical treatment for their injuries.

Police say Dyane and Walters were charged and arrested for malicious wounding.

Both men are being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
