VSP says goodbye to ‘Rudco,’ K9 explosives detector for 7 years

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Virginia State Police officers are bidding farewell to a K9 that served in the department for seven years.

The police department said in a tweet that “Rudco" served with Sr. Trooper J. Nixon from 2010 to December 2017.

The 12-year-old Belgian Mainois died on Nov. 6.
