5th District Congressman Denver Riggleman tackles Bigfoot conspiracies in new book

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - 5thDistrict Congressman Denver Riggleman just released a book that is poking a little fun while tackling some serious issues.

The book is called ‘Bigfoot... It’s Complicated.’ The book goes after conspiracy theories such as QAnon through the lens of Bigfoot believer communities. Riggleman says he uses his military and national security experience to go after disinformation.

“Is Bigfoot possible, no. Is he probable? Maybe. I think that’s the self deprecating part of this as an intelligence analyst trying to figure out why people believe what they do about Bigfoot and how that affects their lives, and I think that’s why people will like it," he said.

Riggleman also called the book a full circle moment because he pranked his wife with a Bigfoot excursion on their 15th anniversary and is releasing this book on their 31st anniversary.
