(WWBT) - Some schools in Central Virginia are making changes to their learning model or canceling school ahead of expected inclement weather as remnants of Hurricane Zeta move through the region.
Buckingham County Public Schools will operate on a virtual learning model on Thursday due to the weather.
There will be no in-person school for students on Oct. 29.
There will also be no SOL testing for students.
All employees are to work from home.
Due to anticipated heavy rain and gusty winds, Amelia County Public Schools will be closed Thursday.
There will be no instruction for students.
Brunswick County Public Schools will be closed for students and staff on Thursday.
Maintenance staff is advised to see their direct supervisor.
Lunenburg County Public Schools will be closed Thursday.
There will be no Internet Cafe or student appointments.
All school and office buildings will be closed on Thursday, and all learning will be held virtually.
There will be no meals prepared or delivered.
Staff will work from home to conduct virtual learning.
