RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Richmond Public Schools will hold two community meetings on the role of police officers in schools.

The virtual meetings come after Superintendent Jason Kamras announced he would ask the school board to remove all school resource officers from schools.

The community can join the meetings on Facebook Live on the school district’s page.

One will be held on Aug. 10 at 6 p.m., there other is at the same time on Aug. 24.
