Dutch Gap Conservation Area Trail to close for scheduled work

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - The Dutch Gap Conservation Area Trail will close on Aug. 1 due to scheduled work by Dominion Energy.

Dominion will be making improvements and will require access across the trail, officials said.

The trail will reopen on Aug. 17.

Officials said residents can enjoy other trails such as R. Garland Dodd Park at Point of Rocks along Enon Church Road or the John J. Radcliffe Appomattox River Conservation Area along Chesdin Road.
