RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Due to severe weather in the area, grab and go meals and packet pickups in the area have been delayed.


Superintendent Jason Kamras announced via Twitter mobile food distribution will be canceled today. Ten of the school sites will remain open.


Chesterfield County Public Schools announced meal services will be moved to April 14 at the same scheduled locations and at normal times.


Henrico County Public Schools have canceled meal distribution due to severe weather.

Meal distribution for Henrico will resume on April 14 at 11 a.m.


Powhatan meal distribution scheduled for today will now happen tomorrow.


No meal services will be at Goochland County Schools today.

Meals will be at normal food bus stops only, and will be courtesy of Goochland Schools’ partners at Goochland Fire & Rescue.

Meals at normal food bus stops will be at:

  • Company 1: 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
  • Company 3: 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • County Line Church: 12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Company 6: Lunch and Snack 12:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Goochland will not run the sunshine food bus today.

New Kent

New Kent will do food grab and go and instructional packet pick up tomorrow.


Hanover County will do paper packet pickups tomorrow.
