RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - State parks in Virginia will be closed until April to prevent social gatherings amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
State parks which include campgrounds, cabins and bathrooms will close until April 30 and will operate as “day-use” only.
Activities under the day-use category which consist of hiking, biking, wildlife viewing and exercise.
Facility reservations will be canceled, but reservation holders will be refunded.
