Chesterfield County Public Schools providing meal pick-up on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Chesterfield County Public Schools has been approved to offer dinner and snack distribution during regularly scheduled meal service times at existing sites.

When parents pick up meals for children on Mondays and Wednesdays, each child will get six meals and two snacks.

On Fridays, each child will get nine meals and three snacks.

New meal sites in Chesterfield for children are:

  • Union Branch Baptist Church, April 17-June 30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15 a.m.- 12 p.m.
  • Ironbridge Church, April 17-June 30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15 a.m.- 12 p.m.
  • Bensley Park, April 17- June 30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15 a.m.- 11:45 a.m.
  • Ettrick/Matoaca Library, April 17-June 30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15 a.m.- 12 p.m.
  • Chester Library, April 17-June 30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15 a.m.- 12 p.m.
  • Your Store, April 17-June 30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15 a.m.- 11:45 a.m.
  • Happy Hill Shopping Center, April 17-June 30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15 a.m.- 11:45 a.m.

At all of the listed locations, look for the school bus.

Important details:

  • Children do not have to be present to pick up meals. To pick up meals without a student present, please tell the CCPS staff member your student’s first and last name as well as their age.
  • No meal service is available on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
