Vigil to be held for man shot, killed during quadruple shooting on Christmas

Man killed in Christmas morning quadruple shooting in Shockoe Bottom identified

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A vigil will be held later this week for Kenneth Lawson, who was shot and killed during a quadruple shooting on Christmas morning in Shockoe Bottom.

That vigil is Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Ann Hardy Plaza - which is along the 33-hundred block of First Avenue in Richmond.

Kenneth Lawson, 37, did not survive when someone shot into the Wing Bar restaurant shortly after midnight on Christmas.

Officers arrived on the scene just before 1 a.m and found Lawson inside Wing Bar suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man and woman were both rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The other victim, a woman, had non-life-threatening injuries.
