RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Here’s a quick look at our top headlines to help get you out the door.

Trump Impeached

After a historic night, President Donald Trump has been impeached in the House of Representatives.

The vote was 230 to 197 in favor of impeachment - two Democrats voted no and no Republicans voted yes.

The Republican-led Senate is expected to hold a speedy trial in early January but is not expected to remove Trump from office.

Water Main Break

A water main break has been repaired in Richmond’s Fan District.

The break happened Wednesday on Hanover Avenue, causing crews to close it between Rowland Street and Shields Avenue.

There is no word yet on what caused the break.


Double-shooting

Petersburg police are investigating a double shooting that happened Wednesday night.

The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. in the 600 blocks of St. Mark Street and Virginia Avenue.

The shooting is believed to be a robbery gone wrong. Sources say both victims are in critical condition.

Trooper Injured in Chase

Three people are in police custody after officials say they stole a truck from a work zone and led a trooper on a chase.

Virginia State Police were informed about a truck being stolen from a work zone on Interstate 95 at mile marker 88.6 around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

One trooper sustained minor injuries when his vehicle was hit. No other injuries were reported.

“Den of Hell”

Raymond W. Harry was convicted of four counts of rape of a child, one count of forcible sodomy, and 50 counts of production of child pornography. He was sentenced to five mandatory life sentences and an additional 100 years of mandatory prison.

Police and forensic examiners reviewed all the media found in his RV and found ‘horrific’ rape and sexual abuse photos and videos.

“This child went to an adult for nurturing. For things, you would expect of an adult and he turned it into her den of hell,” Louisa Commonwealth’s Attorney Rusty McGuire said.
