Suspect in Richmond bank robbery arrested

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Richmond police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a Richmond bank.

Marcus D. Griffis, 26, was arrested at 9 a.m. Oct. 2 near Broad Rock Road. He is charged with robbery.

Police were called to the Suntrust Bank along Forest Hill Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Oct. 1. Officers said the man passed the teller a note and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
