LOUDOUN CO., Va. (WWBT) - A Virginia Little League team lost in an elimination game to Louisiana on Thursday night, 10-0 in five innings.
Loudoun South lost in a no-hitter after having thrown two no-hitters of their own against Minnesota and Rhode Island earlier in the tournament.
Hawaii downed Virginia, 12-9, Wednesday sending the kids from the commonwealth to Thursday’s elimination game.
Louisiana will play Hawaii in the United States championship game.
According to the Loudoun Times-Mirror, Loudoun South is the first team from the state in 25 years to play in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
