HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - A driver who police say was texting crashed into a power pole early Thursday morning, causing power outages in Henrico County.

This incident closed Azalea Avenue between Huntington Avenue and Tamiana Avenue for several hours as crews cleaned up.

Police say the driver, who was not identified, was charged with reckless driving.

Power has been restored to the area.
