A special session of the General Assembly begins Tuesday after Gov. Ralph Northam called for more gun control laws following a mass shooting in Virginia Beach.

Recently released polls by the Wason Center for Public Policy show Virginians support increased gun control measures, including some that are part of Northam’s proposals.
