HANOVER, Va. (WWBT) - A Ku Klux Klan group gathered outside of the Hanover courthouse on Saturday afternoon, deputies say.

The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said deputies received reports of protested at Hanover courthouse.

Officials responded to the scene, and determined no illegal activity had taken place.

Deputies remained on scene to monitor the area while the “recruitment session” continued.

Authorities say no injuries were reported.
