(WWBT) - Ever wanted to hit a 1,000-foot home run? Well, now you can.
Google added a playable baseball game to its home page for the Fourth of July.
In the summer’s most addictive food fight, it’s the peanuts vs. everybody else, including watermelon, steak, lemonade, hamburger, corn dog, nachos, pretzel, pizza, popcorn and pie.
The peanut pitcher (pitching peanut?) has a physics-defying arsenal of curveballs that would make Max Scherzer jealous. For lack of better terms, the gashouse goober has a snakeball, a swirly ball and even a disappearing pitch. And they are always in the strike zone.
But despite a repertoire that even Sir Isaac Newton couldn’t explain, he gives up monster home runs on the regular. (He also tips his pitches, if you’re paying attention.)
Try to rack up as many runs as you can before you let three strikes go by or YOU’RE OUT!
The game works on both desktop and mobile devices.
