Police identify man, teen killed in Louisa County crash
The crash is being investigated.

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Virginia State Police said two people were killed after two vehicle collided in Louisa County Monday evening.

Troopers were called the 2600 block of New Bridge Road in Mineral around 6:44 p.m.

Police said 2005 Ford Mustang was heading east on New Bridge Road and lost control as it came into a curve. The mustang slid across the center line and was struck in the side by a 2004 Dodge 2500.

The driver of the mustang, Larry A. Booth III, 21, and a 17-year-old male, both from Spotsylvania County, died at the scene. Police said Booth was not wearing a seat belt and the teen was wearing one.

The driver of the Dodge, Michael L. Forbes, 31, of Mineral, was treated for his injures and released from the hospital for his injuries. Police said Forbes was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash continues to be investigated.
