PHILADELPHIA (WDBJ7) -- Virginia’s lacrosse team won its sixth national championship in school history on Tuesday, jumping to an early lead before holding off Yale 13-9.

Virginia's Matt Moore scored four goals and added an assist. Michael Kraus had three goals for UVA.

The Cavaliers defeated Duke 13-2 in the semifinals.
