Second meth lab in three days discovered

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Chesterfield Police are investigating a possible meth lab at a home in the 2400 block of Arcadia Avenue.

Police went to the home late Tuesday night to serve a warrant for grand larceny.

After securing a search warrant for the home, police found items and materials consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Virginia State Police assisted in discovering a meth lab behind the house.

Turner Littlefield, 43, was arrested and taken to the Chesterfield County jail. He is currently being held without bond.

Littlefield also had outstanding charges of felony grand larceny in Chesterfield, two counts of probation violation in Franklin, possession of marijuana and a contempt of court charge.

This is the second possible meth lab discovered in Chesterfield in a week. Four people were arrested Sunday for an apparent meth lab in an apartment on Jeff Davis Highway.
