Petersburg police vehicle stolen, suspect arrested

PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT) - Petersburg police have arrested a man suspected of stealing a police vehicle.

An unmarked Petersburg police vehicle was stolen May 12 in the 400 block of Grove Road. The following day, the vehicle was stopped in Chesterfield County and the driver, who was identified as Tylin T. Odin, 22, of Chesterfield was arrested.

Odin is charged with grand larceny and destruction of property.

No other police items such as badges or firearms were stolen in this incident, Petersburg police said.
