STAFFORD, VA (WWBT) - A Stafford woman was arrested and charged with the burglary of several homes.

Deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 100 block of Pilot Knob Loop just after 9:30 p.m. May 7 for a reported breaking and entering.

The residence was cleared and deputies were shown security footage inside the home that showed an unidentified person rifling through the victim’s purse and looking out a window several times. The only thing taken from the home was leftover Chinese food the burglar found in the refrigerator.

One block away, a separate break-in was reported in the 200 block of Pilot Knob Loop. In that burglary, a gaming system was reported stolen.

The sheriff’s office said the surveillance images led to the suspect being identified as Summer Davis, 26, of Stafford. A search warrant was executed May 9 and deputies recovered several stolen items, including the gaming console.

Davis admitted to three burglaries on Pilot Knob Loop as well as a home on Malvern Hill Court. She is charged with burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny and obtaining money by false pretenses and was incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

There has been no word on what happened to the Chinese food.
